Danny Varghese is the current Youth Pastor of International Pentecostal Assembly (IPA) in Yukon, OK, where he has had the honor of serving since January 2020. During his tenure at IPA, Pastor Danny has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of service, community, and the Gospel within the local church. His dedication and passion have been evident throughout his service.
Throughout his term, Pastor Danny has led numerous impactful initiatives at IPA. One notable effort includes formalizing a Wednesday night service called The Chapel, primarily focused on youth (ages 11-19) and young adults (ages 20-30+). Under Pastor Danny's leadership, IPA has made Youth a priority, investing significant resources to build a thriving Youth Ministry. This focus has created an environment where young people are actively engaged and growing spiritually. Since 2023, he has personally taken students to ICPF camps, walked alongside and guided them in their spiritual walk and has had the privilege to witness their infilling of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Danny and his wife Jessena have also had the joy of enhancing and teaching IPA SUPERKIDZ, the elementary school ministry, side by side. Their combined efforts have brought a renewed sense of energy and enthusiasm to the ministry.
Pastor Danny is deeply committed to spreading the Gospel through outreach. Since 2021, he has partnered with Good Tidings, an Oklahoma City-based program, where he co-leads classes for high school students. This outreach has allowed him to develop strong bonds with students and opened doors for mentoring opportunities across the city. His ability to connect with young people has been a significant factor in the program's success.
In addition to his work at IPA, Pastor Danny has been involved with the non-profit organization Spoken Gospel for the past six years (2019-2025). He is part of a team that creates introductory videos for each book of the Bible, along with in-depth devotionals. These videos, designed to be free resources for churches, believers, or anyone with access to YouTube, feature Pastor Danny as the lead actor portraying Jesus in over 60 videos. His portrayal has been widely appreciated and has helped many understand the Bible in a more profound way.
Pastor Danny holds a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and is currently pursuing his Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary, with an expected completion date of May 2026. His wife, Jessena, is a licensed professional counselor who offers therapy and support to foster children and current and future foster parents. They have been married for seven years and are proud parents to Nadia (4) and Zeke (6 months old). Their family is a testament to their commitment to faith and community.
